For Models: #10011 / #10803

The #10011 is also equipped to fit the Ruger Recessed/Skelton composite stock with the included adapter plate. (If you do not have this specific stock you may discard the adapter plate) Simply unscrew the original stock pad and place the adapter plate protrusion part down towards the inside stock hole. Use the provided screw and the install the adapter plate using the middle screw hole. You are now ready to install the LimbSaver recoil pad. (Please make sure you use the existing screws that came with the stock)

For Models: #10201-#10809

The #10201-#10809 is also equipped to fit the same Mossberg with different screw hole specs. If your screw placement is 15/16” from the heel to center of first screw hole and 7/16” from toe end to center of first screw hole then you will need the included adapter plate. Simply unscrew the original stock pad and place the adapter plate beveled side down towards the inside of the stock. Use the provided screw to install the adapter using the 3rd screw hole which is located 1 3/8” from the toe end. You are now ready to install the LimbSaver recoil pad. (Please remember to use the screw that came with your stock)

For Models: #10401-#10404/#10810

The #10401-#10404/#10810 is also equipped to fit the 12 ga. pop-in pads such as the Nova.

Unscrew and remove factory recoil pad.

Install AirTech recoil pad using factory screws and screw holes. Note: Lubricate screw driver with gun oil.

When using adapter plate:

1. Take the #8 1” steel screws that came with the package and feed them into the holes on the top of the recoil pad making sure the beveled part is facing the inside of the stock. Using a lubricated Philips Screwdriver, push screws all the way down inside the recoil pad until the screw head hits the plastic backing plate.

2. Take the adapter and match the shape with the bottom of the recoil pad. Screw on the adapter until you see the tip of the screws starting to come out the other side and stop. You should have at least a ¾” in space between the adapter and the bottom recoil pad plate.

3. Place the heel of the recoil pad in the butt of the gun first and then lower the toe of the recoil pad into the stock as much as you can. Take your fist and slam it on top of the recoil pad – you will hear a snap which means the adapter has snapped under the inner rim and is in place. Tighten recoil pad to the stock.
