The LimbSaver Baseball Bat Technology is revolutionary in the way that it controls painful energies while pushing the envelope of performance of a baseball bat. The moment that a baseball impacts the bat, a trio of LimbSaver technologies ensure that you will not feel the pain associated with current baseball bats on the market today. Play Longer and Bat Pain-Free.

How The Technology Works

1) DTMS - The patented LimbSaver Decay Time Modification System is manufactured utilizing Sims Vibration Laboratory's proprietary NAVCOM® material. The DTMS technology is inserted into the knob end of the baseball bat during the manufacturing process to achieve optimum performance.

The DTMS technology is primarily designed to reduce the time the harmonic resonance is felt after the ball makes contact with the bat. This stage is considered to be the first working phase of our innovated 3-step technology by reducing the duration of the time of the pain spike during active harmonic resonance. The DTMS technology does not specifically reduce the pain that you would feel, but reduces the length of time that you would feel it.

2) Floating Handle System - The unique floating handle system provides suspension that inhibits the ability of harmful energies to transfer to your hands. SVL engineers have designed specific NAVCOM® components that are designed to work in tandem with our strong but lightweight carbon composite handle, thus creating an atmospheric air chamber between the floating handle system and the aluminum core.

By assimilating these technologies into one system, we have reduced and isolated the overall impact of the "shockwave" compared to standard aluminum or carbon baseball bat handles. By gripping a suspended system, you reduce the surface area through which energy is allowed to travel. On an average adult you will have 51-square inches of surface contact area throughout your fingers and palms when you grip a traditional baseball handle. On the LimbSaver floating handle system the internal structure forces the energy to move through only 8-square inches of area. Because the energy cannot travel to your hands, this system immediately reduces the surface area through which vibration can travel by nearly 85%!

3) Tentacle Grip - This phase is designed and engineered to provide a superior "real-time" feel associated with the grip. The Tentacle Grip grants numerous functional applications and a final phase to the LimbSaver bat technology system.

The grip is made of the same proprietary NAVCOM® material that is used in the Decay Time Modification System, and the floating handle system. The Tentacle Grip not only provides a comfortable feel with a secure grip, but also adds an additional degree of deflection and energy absorption. The Tentacle Grip and node technology dissipates the minimal remnants of the vibration shock-wave that could still cause any possible discomfort. The Tentacle Grip is also sold separately, Model #46002.

3/4 Plus Shock Relief Carbon Technology - LimbSaver's high-end materials and quality control standards guarantee the performance and technology of the bats. Custom 8010 high-performance aluminum alloy allows for a tuned trampoline effect to transfer the maximum amount of snap to the ball, while carbon composites in the floating handle ensure an extremely durable lightweight feel. This action disperses the weight back toward the knob, while the floating handle system moves the center of gravity of the bat inward providing the batter with less weight forward. By moving the weight & center gravity back towards the knob, this ultimately provides the batter with quicker hand speed as they swing through the hitting zone.
